The Abington Review produces an annual print issue in April of every year. All genres of writing are welcome as are any student works of art.

Please submit no more than 6 poems during the reading period, 4 short stories during the reading period, or 4 creative nonfiction pieces, 4 essays/academic papers during the reading period. We also accept novel excerpts. If you are submitting more than one poem, please submit each one individually.

There is no limit to the amount of artwork an artist may submit.

THE DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 12th 2027.

Include your Penn State ID Number, and a brief (no more than 100 words) bio with your submission. 

 WE ARE NOW READING FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR. 

The Abington Review publishes work exclusively from The Penn State Abington Community. Expect a response to your submission by April 1st, 2027. The magazine will be released on April 28th, 2027 at 12:00 noon.

Please submit one piece of artwork at a time.
Also, make sure the document is in .JPG. format and is a MINIMUM of 300 dpi.
