The Abington Review produces an annual online issue and an annual print issue. All genres of writing are welcome.

This year, 2016-2017, our theme is focusing on the 100th anniversary of The United States' entrance into World War I—The Great War. We're looking for writers to explore any concepts that may have arisen and/or have come out of WWI. Don't try to write to the theme—let us fit your work into our theme.

Please submit no more than 5 poems during the reading period, 5 short stories during the reading period, or five creative nonfiction pieces during the reading period. We also accept novel excerpt. If you are submitting more than one poem, please submit each one individually.

As for artwork, please submit no more than 5 black & white drawings, photographs, or any other artwork per submission period.

Please include your Penn State ID Number, and a brief (no more than 100 words) bio with your submission. All work is considered for both print and online publication.

WE ARE NOW READING FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR. ALL work submitted will be displayed on The Abington Review Website.
