The Abington Review produces an annual print issue in April of every year. All genres of writing are welcome.

This year, 2019-2020, our theme is "American Myth," in recognition of the 400th anniversary of the landing of the pilgrims at Plymouth Rock. We're looking for work that looks at life in The United States. Don't try to write to the theme—let us fit your work into our theme—which means SUBMIT ANY OF YOUR WORK!

Please submit no more than 10 poems during the reading period, 10 short stories during the reading period, or 10 creative nonfiction pieces during the reading period. We also accept novel excerpt. If you are submitting more than one poem, please submit each one individually.

Include your Penn State ID Number, and a brief (no more than 100 words) bio with your submission. All work is considered for both print and online publication.

WE ARE NOW READING FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR.

Expect a response to your submission by March 10th, 2020.
